I work with foundations, nonprofits, corporations, and social enterprises to change that, through grant-making, program design, and creative activations that open doors to build more equitable economies.

About
Chelsey Lowe is a philanthropy advisor and consultant with nearly 15 years of experience working with foundations, nonprofits, government agencies, and corporations. Her work utilizes workforce development and entrepreneurship to support economic development.
Chelsey has partnered with organizations like the U.S. Department of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, and The Vanguard Group. Throughout her career, she’s connected over 100 nonprofits to nearly $25 million in grants. Beyond grant-making, Chelsey has facilitated a program connecting construction-related SMEs to procurement and capital opportunities, led a pitch competition and incubator for mental health startups, and produced a podcast highlighting Black women founders scaling technology businesses.
Chelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography & Urban Studies from Temple University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Management in African Philanthropy at Wits Business School in Johannesburg, where her research focuses on philanthropy, the visual arts, and women’s career development in South Africa.
